Why digitize your photography?

  • Conveniently view photographs on electronic devices.
  • Manage your files using photo organizing software.
  • Share images on the cloud with family and friends.
  • Prepare slideshows for family events using the digital images!

Our photo scanning procedure and details.

Photos are captured using a flatbed scanner.
Quality of images are better than autofed scans because of the scanner used and manipulating times. Photographs can be scanned directly from album pages although the cost per scan is higher than loose photos.
  • Photographs stuck to pages will NOT be removed and the entire page will be scanned and processed to isolate individual photographs.
  • Flatbed scanning at 600 DPI scans at 24 bit depth.
  • Color balance, contrast is corrected for each photo. Quality enhancing Photoshop filters can also be applied.
  • Images saved as high quality JPG or TIFF files and are perfect for archiving, printing, sharing online or presenting at family events.
  • Separate your photos from the albums and save money.
  • Flatbed scanning at 600 DPI scans at 24 bit depth.
  • The order of the photographs will be maintained.
  • Manual image editing (crop, touch ups, color, and contrast). Quality enhancing Photoshop filters can also be applied.
  • Images saved as high quality JPG or TIFF files.
An economical alternative to flatbed scanning.
Quality of the scanned images is slightly less than flatbed scanned. The photos are digitized by an automated process which enables quicker scanning times and lower costs per scan.
  • Photographs are scanned at 600ppi and 24 bit color with automation that also corrects color balance and contrast.
  • Capture backside photograph notes at 10 cents per scan.
  • Images saved as high quality JPG or TIFF files and are perfect for archiving, printing, sharing online or presenting at family events.
  • Quality enhancing Photoshop filters can also be applied.
  • Another complete set of your scans as “web friendly” image file available on request
Autofed scanners may produce small and faint “dust lines” caused by dust collecting on scanner optics. However, compressed air is used to clean the scanner periodically to reduce the potential of these lines.
