Question: What are Giclée prints?

Answer: "Giclée" is from the french word "gicler" meaning "to spray" which describes how high end, Giclee printers apply ink to the surface of fine art papers and canvas. These printers usually have 9 to 12 different colored ink cartridges in order to accurately recreate colors from artwork.

This method of printing also allows for smooth tonal ranges, deep blacks and vivid colors.  AirClix produces Giclee prints on archival fine art papers (usually 100% cotton) and canvas.  In addition, we only use Epson UltraChrome HD and Pro10 inks in our Epson Giclée printers.
